TP-Link has become one of the best selling wireless routers in the United States, with an estimated 65% of us using them. They are throughout our homes, businesses, and even in our government agencies. Well, they have some security flaws, have been used in hack attacks from China, and more. For that reason, they are coming under heavy scrutiny… well, that and the fact that they are made in China. Because of this, the Departments of Commerce, Defense, and Justice are all launching investigations into if they should be banned like some of the other China made tech products. It’s too early to tell, but this could cause a dramatic shift in our available products.
After TP-Link’s routers were used in a recent hacker attack, the government might ban their sales in the US.
