It’s been an ongoing thing, and it’s really not much of a surprise that as Netflix broke 300 million worldwide viewers, that they’d raise their prices again. They added 19 million new subscribers, for a new single quarter record, and at this rate, it’s not likely to slow down. They’ve been on top of the streaming game for so long that it seems like just a given that they’ll continue on this track for quite a while, no matter what they do. For years, it’s been a couple of bucks at a time, and this isn’t much different. Your next billing cycle will reflect the new numbers of $25, $18, or $8, depending on your tier. Extra viewer option? Well, that’ll also go up by $1 per month as well.
Netflix is raising prices, with its cheapest plan in the US with ads going from $6.99 to $7.99 per month, while its priciest subscription is nearly $25.
