After months of wondering, of various responses including misinformation, some news has come out from the new administration in the White House about the New Jersey drones. Apparently the FAA, who remained quiet for that entire time, had given authorization for all of these drones, what even shutdown airports for periods of time. Confusing, however, is that the same FAA openly banned flights. Worse yet, New Jersey’s governor reached out to many other politicians, including the White House to determine if this was a threat, with no response. Even now, no details have been released as to what these drones were doing, other than a vague reference to “research and other reasons”.
The mysterious drones that caused alarm among many New Jersey residents last year were in large part authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration, the White House said Tuesday.
