Statistics and surveys interest me, especially when it comes to adoption of technology. In this case, it seems that 77% of people in India trust Artificial Intelligence. Other countries follow with China at 72%, Mexico 55%, Brazil 52%, South Korea 50%, and Japan with 38%. After all of that, I feel more reassured in my long stance of concern, as I read that only 32% of us in the United States have trust in it. Perhaps it’s our fear of dystopian futures, our lack of trust in Big Tech, or concerns over job displacement. There’s more to this, as they covered a number of other countries not mentioned here, but world wide it seems that many countries trust AI more than us.
