The culture of electronics changing before their final demise is becoming harsher. In 2021, Logitech burned us with the discontinuation of their great Harmony tech remotes. This week, it announced that online support is going for the first generation of the line as well. I guess that I knew it was leaving, and I have since abandoned my Harmony remotes, but it’s still sad to see them go, especially when they did so well, and lasted so long. There are a few that weren’t dropped, and you can still use the application, but it won’t be quite the same user experience. Check your model now, but know that I never did find a good replacement.
