Windows 11 continues to have strange experiences. I’ve been reluctant to move my primary machine, and last Windows machine over for many reasons. This week, Microsoft didn’t help, when their latest patching update unintentionally uninstalled CoPilot, their AI system. Yes, it can be downloaded again, but many haven’t been happy with it anyway. I’m setting aside time for the full backup of my system in multiple forms, and planning to make the jump, but this just unsettled me yet again. Just under 60% of people are still on Windows 10, and just under 40% on Windows 11… which is a telling tale of Microsoft’s woes.
The latest monthly Windows 11 update accidentally uninstalled and unpinned the Copilot app on PCs.
