What was supposed to be a 7 day trip to the ISS, turned into 285 days, but the good news is that Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore have ended their Gilligan’s Island in Space experience. Through the experience, the two of them have been upbeat, broke records, and worked on a variety of experiments available in the ISS. Tuesday evening, they returned on a SpaceX craft, with SpaceX spacesuits, in what is the lastest blow in the space program for Boeing. The fate of the Boeing Starliner program has yet to be revealed, but with it being so long, I am left to wonder if perhaps the non-answer is our answer. Time will only tell, but I’m glad that Suni and Butch are home at last.
