Slate Auto was announced this week, backed by Jeff Bezos, with a look similar to the Ford Bronco, but a little smaller. Interestingly enough, this comes with no infotainment system, instead relying upon you to provide a phone or tablet for usage. They even setup so that you can bring your own bluetooth boombox, rather than installing a stereo. No power windows, or other features, but at $20,000 after various credits, it’s not aiming at the same market. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s available on Amazon, Jeff Bezos largest claim to fame.
