We covered this when it was announced just about 2 months ago. Skype is officially gone now. We used Skype here at the show for nearly the entire length of time, bringing in our various team and guests. While it’s been rather static and non-evolving over recent years, it still was well developed and didn’t make for any headaches. So, with that demise, Teams is now the approach to go if you’re staying in the Microsoft realm. Zoom and Discord are great, but there’s a number of other options available as well. This isn’t all that unexpected, as the churn in tech is just as frequent as just about anything else out there.
