I’ve seen fake recruiters. They are infecting LinkedIn and the rest of the job boards, as people struggle to make a living. We’ve seen others flood the job world with AI crafted resumes to get any job that they can hold down for six months until their fraud is found. Taking a lead from that, others have found that they can deliver ideal candidates to get the click-through, but then deliver malware instead of actual real workers. They are creating fake accounts on LinkedIn, disrupting the inbox of HR execs, and creating fake websites, all seeking to take the unsuspecting down for more ill gotten gains.
