The TSA regularly updates items allowed or not allowed on flights to, from, or in the United States. It’s all about keeping us safe in the air. They released an emergency order this past week about your cell phone, and from here out, it won’t be allowed on flights. Well, only if you have a Samsung Galaxy Note7, which weas released in 2016, and came under scrutiny over issues where it caught on fire. I’m just really confused about a 9 year old phone, with known problems, needing an emergency order today. Haven’t all users moved on from that phone, yet? Still, if you’ve got one during screening, it’s probably better to throw it out and get a new one without such a bad history.
