The story keeps repeating. SpaceX sends up a rocket, and another one, and another one. Along the way, some of them blow up. I mentioned this concept a while back, but it’s becoming more and more clear across those that follow this effort, that this isn’t a problem. SpaceX is following a different path than the rest of the industry. Their approach, which they don’t publicize, appears to be frequent inexpensive builds, and rapid adjustments to fix what went wrong last time. For every failure, they are adapting, growing, and putting more into space than anyone else. Go big, or go home seems to be the rallying cry, with cheers of success, even as they break things. Very similar to how programmers work, innovators, the adventurous and the bold.
Starship is unlike other rockets. And SpaceX is testing it to destruction—deliberately.
