There’s a strange lifeline to those who want to run Windows 10 for another year. It comes with strings, and they aren’t good, with a requirement to backup everything to their cloud servers, redeem 1000 Microsoft Rewards points, or pay $30. This really is only for people who want only one more year on the old platform. To be fair, they gave a lot of warning, going back 4 years ago this month, that the drop dead date would be coming. It puzzles me why they persist in these tactics when clearly Windows 11 is not exactly a favorite, with only a very recent shift in numbers, with more Win11 than Win10 users.
