Earlier this year, I talked about a British plan to see if they could put something in the atmosphere to dim our sun, or rather, its impacts on the Earth. I noted at the time that it was something like the plot to Highlander 2, where the protagonist made a big mistake when tinkering the same way. We get further along and find out that there were plans here in the US, at the University of Washington, to do the same thing. A multi-million dollar plan to see about producing clouds over a 3900 square mile stretch of ocean. This was done in near secret, leading to the wonder as to why people think it’s good if they have to keep it a secret, a life lesson applicable for most everyone and every situation.
