I get that streaming services will have their price bumps. I get that sometimes we might not notice as much, when they are spread across a small bump each year, but this one still hurts. Apple TV+ is going up 30% with your next renewal point. Now, it represents a $3 bump, just like their last bump, and percentage-wise isn’t as bad.The last bump was in October 2023, when they went from 7 to 10, but now it’s going up another $3 to 13. Now, it was noted that they are operating Apple TV+ at a loss of $1 Billion annually, but subscriber numbers have grown. It’s not easy to handle these bumps, but I would have thought a $1.50 a year bump would have been better split into each of the years, much like their competitors do.
Apple’s video streaming service is now $12.99 per month.
