YouTube is going down an interesting road, with potential potholes, and some diverse reactions. It seems that in recent days, YouTube dove into the idea of using AI to enhance videos, performing edits like removing blur and noise, and artificially improving clarity. This has been met with glee by some, but others have noted that they work hard to develop a look that they wish to retain. Others have noted that this means that AI is being used on these videos to train them using your owned content, which leads to the question as to who owns the rights to your image and likeness. It was noted that this is an experiment, but will they undo edits, will they continue forward, or will they offer options?Who knows, but it’s raising eyebrows for many.

YouTube has been quietly running an experiment where it uses AI to edit videos without the creator’s permission, and some users are furious.
