The Pixel 10 Fold has been on the streets for little more than a week, and wouldn’t have caught my eye for conversation. However, a YouTuber put this folding screen to the test, and tested it with sand, then did a bend test, breaking as badly as the last torture test with the Pixel Fold 9. This time, however, it also shorted out, catching the battery on fire. This continues to highlight my concerns about folding screens, and why I’m not anxious to see this idea continue. Yes, there are people who love theirs, but in my humble opinion, the additional screen size and folding functionality really doesn’t meet up with the dangers of being stuck with a phone for 2 years that I can’t trust to survive the rigors of use.
