Annually, Time Magazine… ok, a magazine is a group of paper pages… so Time Magazine announces their Person of the Year. This sometimes is tame, and sometimes generates serious levels of conversation and controversy. It truly is about the impact, so past world leaders have famously made the cover, famous or infamous. This year it was “The Architects of AI”, which no matter how you feel about AI, is an apt item. This past year has been harder to talk about news about anything other than AI, as so many have embraced the idea of AI, that most news stories are about exactly that. Even AI generated news stories about AI generated news stories have made the grade in many editor’s offices. The key thing is that Time Magazine is telling us something we already know… AI is definitely a moving force, and there are many humans behind this paradigm shift in how we consume print, sound, and video, and it will continue that way.
