One of the ways that I know that something is still in early phases, is when it’s not backwards compatible. ChatGPT’s latest version entitled 5.5, is showing those signs. This latest version has some struggles which may require you to change up your long established prompts. We’ve seen this between versions, but now, if you’ve become accustomed to some specific prompts, longer, or perhaps use some finite limiting terminology, you may be less than pleased with your results. This will translate across all platforms, however, as we still move forward through the various iterations and drive forward. I strongly suggest an age old trick, of spending a day or two pushing through learning at each new version. An upside is that you’ll possibly learn new things about AI that you hadn’t seen before.

If you’re using long and overly specific prompts with ChatGPT’s latest model, you’re doing it wrong.
