I wish I made this up. Let’s start with the idea of Battlebots, a TV show that I occassionally watched years back. Two robots, of sorts, would go into a ring and fight each other. Off in China, a new bout in the Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend tournament squared off against each other. Teams program and set their robots against each other, and one took the final round by kicking the competitor’s head off. The platform is the Engine T800. If you’ve seen the Terminator movies, you’ll recognize that Arnold Schwarzennager’s robot was the T-800. Perhaps the future that Sarah Connor was afraid of, is already here?
