In the theme of “you are the product”, Amazon is now making it easier to buy what you see on Prime Video. No, it’s not going to be intrusive (yet), but it is built into the X-Ray experience, and allow you to shop for the same items that you see in their various video offerings, such as movies. They aren’t the only ones, as we’ve seen this with YouTube, Roku, and others. Regrettably, in this modern culture, too many people will chase after this kind of tech offering, and spend more money on something just because it was shown on screen. I plan to skip over this option, as while I have some fascination with knowing which specific watch James Bond has, I have no intention of buying one of those at some $5000.

Amazon is expanding shopping integrations across Prime Video, letting viewers discover products tied to thousands of shows, movies, and live sports through X-Ray, its shopping app, and a new Lens-powered “Shop the Scene” feature.
