The Catholic Church has stated before, through Pope’s Francis and Benedict, and their priestly infrastructure, that man should learn how to disconnect from tech. This has been covered in many of the Protestant churches as well, and I would hope that we all take pause to listen to these calls. Unfortunately, like many of the other things that churches put forward, many followers fail to listen and follow. I know that many of us struggle with this addiction, but I encourage you to at least try.

“Let us put a halt to the frantic running around dictated by our agendas. Let us learn how to take a break, to turn off the mobile phone,” Pope Francis said in his weekly address from a window overlooking St. Peter’s Square.
